India and Pakistan will be taking on each other on September 04 once again in the Super4 stage of Asia Cup 2022.

The first match between both these sides took place on August 28 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium wherein India beat their arch-rivals in a final-over thriller by 5 wickets. India beat Hong Kong in the second game of the league stage to become the first team to qualify for the Super4 stage from Group A. Pakistan, on the other hand, beat Hong Kong in their second game by 155 runs to qualify for Super4.

India and Pakistan will face each other again on Sunday, 4 September 2022 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the Super4 round of the Asia Cup 2022. The match will begin at 07:30 pm IST with the toss taking place at 07:00 pm IST. Both sides can once again play in the final of the Asia Cup 2022, provided they win 2 of their 3 games in the Super4 stage.

Pakistan seamer Shahnawaz Dahani has been ruled out of the team’s Asia Cup Super-4 match against arch-rivals India with a “suspected side strain”, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced on Saturday. “Shahnawaz Dahani will not be available for Sunday’s ACC T20 Asia Cup Super-4 match against India due to a suspected side strain. The injury happened while bowling in the match against Hong Kong in Sharjah on Friday,” the PCB said in a statement.
